New Online Procedure for Obtaining Domicile Certificates

• The old procedure of making domicile has been changed. Now the student will make the domicile by applying online. Necessary Information for Obtaining Domicile Certificate*
  Those students who have given matriculation examination or who are in class 10 should follow the below procedure for timely domicile certificate.

1. Keep the national identity card of father and mother with you while applying online.
2. Take one of the parents with you to Nadra office for biometric verification.
3. The student must have Form B or smart card.
4. The student must keep a photo of himself and his father with him.
   After verification your domicile will be sent online to Tehsildar. After that a domicile certificate will be issued to you.
   Note: All students should produce domicile certificate on time so that there is no difficulty in intermediate admission.

Steps to Apply:

1. Online Application: The application process for a domicile certificate is now entirely online. Unfortunately, I cannot provide specific links to government websites due to privacy concerns. Search for “[province name] domicile certificate online application” (replace “[province name]” with your province, e.g., Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).
2. Father’s Biometric Verification: After submitting the online application, you will need to visit a National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office with your father for biometric verification.
3. Online Verification: Upon successful verification, your application will be sent electronically to the Tehsildar’s office for verification.
4. Domicile Certificate Issuance: Once approved, you will receive your domicile certificate online.

• Apply for your domicile certificate well in advance to avoid any delays in receiving it before intermediate admissions.
