Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee, announced that the moon of Muharram-ul-Haram has not be seen in the country.
While giving a press conference in Quetta, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that the moon of Muharram Al-Haram was not seen, it was cloudy in most places and there was no evidence of the sighting of the moon from any part of the country.
Therefore, 1st Muharram 1440 Hijri will be on Monday, July 8, while Ashura Day will be on Wednesday, July 17.
