Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, announced that the Pakistani government is actively coordinating with Kyrgyz authorities to secure the safe return of Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan.
During a press briefing at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, Tarar shared details about the ongoing efforts. He was present to welcome a group of Pakistani students who had just arrived from Kyrgyzstan.
Tarar explained that the Pakistani government has received special authorization to conduct four flights daily from Kyrgyzstan to expedite the repatriation process. On this occasion, a total of 175 Pakistani students landed at the airport, where comprehensive arrangements were in place to ensure their comfort and convenience, including transportation and food services.
Additionally, the Information Minister highlighted the establishment of special immigration counters at both Lahore and Islamabad airports. These counters are specifically designed to streamline the immigration process for the returning students, providing them with a hassle-free experience as they arrive back in Pakistan.
