PTI leaders Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Umar Sarfaraz Cheema have been granted bail by the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore in connection with a case involving incendiary speech and arson at Sherpao Bridge.
The case revolves around allegations of incendiary speech and subsequent arson at Sherpao Bridge, leading to legal action initiated by the Sarwar Road police station against the accused.
Following presentations by the legal representatives of Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, the ATC reviewed the arguments and approved their bail applications.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid’s involvement is linked to rioting that erupted following Imran Khan’s arrest, along with accusations of delivering inflammatory speeches on May 9 against state institutions at Sherpao Bridge in the city.
