The Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, is set to embark on a two-day official visit to Pakistan starting tomorrow (Wednesday), as reported by Radio Pakistan.
During his stay, Saidov will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and engage in extensive discussions with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on various bilateral matters, with particular attention to trade and connectivity.
This visit is anticipated to invigorate the amicable ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. In recent weeks, Pakistan has welcomed several prominent foreign dignitaries and government officials.
Additionally, Pakistan is currently hosting a significant Saudi trade delegation, aiming to explore investment opportunities.
Earlier, Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi visited Pakistan and pledged to elevate bilateral trade to $10 billion.
“In our discussions today, we have committed to enhancing bilateral relations across various domains, including political, economic, trade, cultural, and others,” stated Raisi during his visit to Pakistan last month.
